I would also encourage you to visit Disneyland, where you find many intellectual property items, like Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty and Snow White and Mulan, which can only be found at Disneyland due to the value of a public cultural pool that companies like Disneyland have been draining rapidly in the 20th Century in order to protect their profit margins against their failure to produce new intellectual property

If you weren't living on an isolated island, then maybe you would have heard of Woody, Buzz Lightyear, the Lion King etc.?? Of course these are also characters in the fabled 20th century stables. Of course if you are comparing all the characters of the 20th century to those developed in the 21st, I think that you have to give them another 70 years or so to prove their worth.
