President Obama Transforms Military In His Image By Firing 197 Officers

Traditionally in hard line authoritarian nations, it is imperative that the military be kept in line and this is usually done through periodic military purges. The goal being to ensure that military commanders support the government and act as enforcer against the populace if they start to protest.

The problem here, in my opinion is that the military does not respect the current president and this is the result of the president not respecting them.
