A Day At Disney....

By Phil at Flying Chair. He was somewhat disappointed, essentially not enough rides for the number of people let in. I haven't gone and probably won't for a little while. Since the kids would be the main reason to go, and they are at school now, therefore, the days off are probably bedlam there. Hopefully there will be a school field-trip or something so that they can go while school is in session and there will be many fewer people.

I do have one suggestion for a ride.... a while back, I had the opportunity to ride a mini-bus from Shatin to Mongkok, over the mountain. This was as frightening an experience I have had. There is good reason why all the safety handles are broken on the back of the seats, its because people grip them so tight, that when their weight is thrown around, the dang things break!

So I suggest that they have a wild Mongkok mini-bus ride, and of course this one will be much safer! They could go through marketplaces, have pedestrians jump out of the way, etc. to add to the excitement.

This may work in Florida, California, Tokyo and Paris, too!

I'm sorry - I only just saw this!

I think your suggestion is excellent. Another possibility would be the recreation of the old CMB number 15 from the Peak down Stubbs Road to Central.

The old CMB non-airconditioned bus used to rattle so much you thought it would fall apart any moment. From the top deck you were convinced the bus was going to fall over the edge of the road and tumble into Happy Valley.

Better than any rollercoaster.
