Industrial Accidents Claim More Than 136,000 Lives Last Year...

136,000 lives were lost in fatal industrial accidents in China last year. This compares with 5,575 and 5,703 in the US for 2003 and 2004, respectively.

I have heard people say that life is cheap in China, and this really drives home the point as to how little value is put on the lives of the hard working Chinese people. If this is how they value the lives of their fellow citizens, imagine the value that they put on us, the non-citizen, non-Chinese guest.
