With Dignity....
The search for the dead in hurricane ravaged New Orleans will not be allowed to be ravaged by the press either.
Col. Ebbert said the search for the dead will be done systematically, block-by-block, with dignity and with no news media allowed to follow along. "You can imagine sitting in Houston and watching somebody removed from your parents' property. We don't think that's proper," he said. The press hunting sensationalism like pigs sniffing for truffles will not be allowed to accompany soldiers with cadaver sniffing dogs to give a little bit of dignity to the dead their instead of each one being trumpeted by the press. The press is being allowed to wallow it its own effluent of breathlessly reporting the 10,000 deaths that they were hoping for so that they would have a big wedge issue to hang over George Bush. Essentially, like a little child that was misbehaving, they are being given a time-out!
