The EPA can now regulate everything...............

Yesterday, Dec. 7, 2009 - a date which will live in infamy - the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by the heavy hand of Marxism from the Empire of the American Central Government.

The American Central Government has, therefore, undertaken a surprise offensive extending throughout the American homeland. The facts of yesterday speak for themselves. The people of the United States have already formed their opinions and well understand the implications to the very life and safety of our nation.

We are now undergoing unprecedented attacks from within as large number of the population want to control nearly every aspect of American life. Seeking to create a sclerotic European-like America, leftists currently seek to control your health, by taking your decision role out of the equation and leaving it in the hands of bureaucrats in Washington. Well, at least the wealthy will be able to travel to clinics in Asia and Mexico to get what they need.

Furthermore, on this day, December 7, 2009, the Environmental Protection Agency has declared CO2 and other 'greenhouse gases' as dangerous to the population, therefore, the door was opened today to government intervention in nearly every single aspect of our lives to control this 'danger.' Remember, that every breathe that you take, every calorie of food that one ingests, every step that is taken... you are releasing a little more CO2 into the atmosphere and therefore will technically fall under potential guidelines devised by your big brother in Washington....

PA: Greenhouse Gases Threaten Public Health and the Environment

Science overwhelmingly shows greenhouse gas concentrations at unprecedented levels due to human activity

WASHINGTON – After a thorough examination of the scientific evidence and careful consideration of public comments, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced today that greenhouse gases (GHGs) threaten the public health and welfare of the American people. EPA also finds that GHG emissions from on-road vehicles contribute to that threat.

GHGs are the primary driver of climate change, which can lead to hotter, longer heat waves that threaten the health of the sick, poor or elderly; increases in ground-level ozone pollution linked to asthma and other respiratory illnesses; as well as other threats to the health and welfare of Americans.

Some of you may argue that the Supreme Court will protect Americans from such a gross intervention into everyday American life, but alas, the Supreme Court has been supportive historically on government intervention through the 16 words of Commerce Clause in the Constitution. Everything, just your simple existence, involves interstate commerce and therefore allows the central government to regulate aspect of your life.

Good luck America, it was fun while it lasted. But the rush towards government control will destroy incentives and the fabric of American life that made this the most dynamic and successful nation in history.
