This is one blood sucking bunch of power hungry whores I will be glad to see go....but the train has left the station. The next group in already knows that, they won't repeal many of the martial rules (gov never gives up power wants it gets it) and the winds of debt will be at hurrican strength blowing everything in it's path to pieces. When that storm passes the rebuilding can begin.
The problem with these neo extremist views from the conservative electorates lobby & the behavioral patterns typically displayed by these misguided people, is the further they sail away from the center & all that's going around it, the more remote reality is for them & the more they help to define the center....
The air is thinner & the water brackish where they sail. Consequently their sense of reality, warped inside their walnut sized minds, is delusionary & fodder for fools.... Their often rabid frustration, born out of insane bewilderment, associated with the challenge laid down by the general electorate (center left/right), in refusing to accept their misguided vision of how the world should be run (guns, tinned food & guard dogs) is testament to the way they would likely handle the most powerful seat in the world....
These oxygen deprived, saltwater consuming purists take comfort & celebrate pyrrhic victories whilst sustaining staggering losses & losing the war.... "Cry havoc & let slip the dogs of war" I hear u cry.... They rarely see the bigger picture, choosing to ignore the wood or just not see the wood for the trees.... One has to ask, do they know what they don't know or are they simply too busy strategising more pyrrhic victories...
President Barack Obama, no matter what U think of him should be respected. He is fighting serious battles of huge complexity on all fronts. He & his administration show no signs of wavering & it seems clear to me, he believes in his country more than himself.... A rare quality indeed in a modern day leader...
He is by know means perfect, has already had to compromise election promises & some would say, myself included, avoided the hard decisions over the Palestinian/Israeli conflict....
But one quickly comes to appreciate the difference in campaigning for the driver seat & actually being the driver.... Sitting behind the big desk in the oval office, one is presumably privy to much new information & together with that, comes a whole different perspective....
In this regard, I believe it's important to acknowledge the dignity & honor with which President George Bush Jnr has managed himself, since leaving office & indeed before leaving by preparing office for the new incumbent. By not making any public comments about Obama or his administration, but still availing himself as a ambassador & statesman for the U.S., President Bush Jnr as truly distinguished himself.
Part 2
Back on point.... The U.S. is 18 mths into this new term. It is widely accepted as the worst global economic climate since the 1930's, a serious global war against terrorism is running & being lead front & center by the U.S. Pakistan (a fully tooled nuclear state) is bordering on anarchy, North Korea is threatening the North Asian peninsular & Iran is sliding away from diplomacy, with it's intention to carry on & out it's nuclear ambitions. If that wasn't enough the worst environmental disaster in U.S. (probably soon to be global) history is lapping the gulf shores as I write....
This is no time to engage in machiavellian politics, bicker about gov't intervention or bitch & moan about health policy..... This is a time to stand & get behind your country & your leader because he's the one running the country during the most challenging times it's seen for generations & he needs unselfish national unity & support, not internal bleeding, division & misguided sniping....
The world is looking on America..... Stand together & stand strong in these challenging times, put Ur individual agendas aside for another day, when they can be properly addressed..... Or, continue to bicker divisively, fragment from the inside out & crumble slowly as many an Int'l onlooker believes is inevitable.....
Whilst considering the above take time to review a recent survey conducted by Pew.
Recognised as one of the very best impartial & apolitical surveys in gauging world opinion (Pew Centers Global Attitudes Project) They have just released their findings which are on the following ric..... PEWRESEARCH.ORG
The summary of which is The World still looks to Barack Obama for leadership....
NOTE: This commentary regrettably will be screened, filtered & potentially altered by big "erudite" brother. Oh the hypocrisy of it all... If U want to ensure what U have read is as written, pls feel free to negotiate the same onerous, interventionist filter process & question me via this blog....
regards
A.N. Onymous
You ignore the reality of what is happening and you wrap yourself around the flag of an individual. Everything you wrote here smacks of cultism. The cult of Bush, the cult of Obama.
They are part of an out of control government. You can change the name of a president, but it does not change the machine they lord over. Obama had every chance to repeal some of the executive power dictates....but instead strengthened and added even more.
You ignore those facts and expect people to blindly get behind Bush 3See you in the soup lines because that is where Congress is sending us.
