Consider this quote....
"We are just asking the rich to pay a little more."As national treasure Thomas points out, this is not 'asking'. We all know that that since all rich folks have always had the opportunity to pay a little more taxes all along, voluntarily, asking does not seem to work. Really what is going here is that the national government is not asking but is compelling them to pay more. If they do not, then they will go jail. How is this asking? Authoritarianism is authoritarianism irrespective how one chooses the words to describe it.

The good part is....it's not about soaking the rich. It's a smokscreen while dozens of little nibbling taxes gobble up the entire paying population. Of course they won't be called taxes, it will come in the form of no exemptions, or payroll deductions, or extended age requirments...but you can be sure that everyone who is working is going to send more to a government completley out of control....and completley non-representive of the what the population wants....and that is LESS government.
