For most bigwig Democrats in Washington, D.C., the last 48 hours has delivered news of the worst kind — a flood of new information that has washed away any lingering doubts about where President Obama and his party stand on civil liberties, full stop.

Well, civil liberty loving Democrats, the opportunists that despite the police state under a Republican but promote it with gusto under a Democratic administration, aren't really only hypocrites. They are not just opportunists. They are really very very worried that the child that we call President of the United States, The One, the one that is proving to be overwhelmingly incompetent buffoon and over his head in nation security matters (as well as most everything that does not involve a speech), is on a path to really completely screw the nation. As result, they have been petrified that the country would be targeted by another terrorist attack and have gone to extraordinary and probably illegal measures to try to prevent one.

Forget Benghazi, a failure of not just security of monumental proportions but also the real time handling of it but also the completely lunacy that drove the aftermath which was one totally focused on protecting the President and not interested in the slightest on correcting the error or getting the perpetrators. Forget the Boston bombers that theoretically should have been caught in the NSA call data dragnet. Bin Laden is dead and GM is alive.

But we are also now hearing this from beyond the grave.
