New Star Ferry Terminal....

Scheduled to open in July, I wonder if the mini-buses that run to the old terminal will now be rerouted to the new one? And this will also make the traffic by the post office much worse during the evening rush-hour. I like to take the ferry when I have extra time but it looks as if it will not be very convenient to Central.

Your loss is my gain. It puts the Star Ferry right next to the "underlying islands" ferry piers.

Since they closed up the path that ran from the present pier behind the Post Office to IFC, getting between the piers has sucked. Now it'll be walking 50 to 100 feet.

As for the minibuses, interesting question. There are bus spots across from the "underlying island" ferry piers, but I'm expecting a lot of that area to be ripped apart as they extend the bypass that will tunnel over to the Convention Center.
