Never Stay At The Royal Taal Inn At Tagaytay.....
These clowns had the audacity to charge 3,812 pesos a night for my wife, two kids and I and were never able to deliver a breakfast, the shower didn't work and only turned on the generator occassionally, so we didn't have electricity for most of the day. A crappy, but clean room, they couldn't even tell me how much it should cost to take a tri-cycle down the street to eat dinner. Not at all helpful and completely devoid of information, the place was so unpleasant that we will never, ever go back to the Philippines for a holiday. WOW Philippines, what a shithole the whole country is. Every clown walking down the street thinks that you are the goose that will lay them the golden egg and you get decended upon by unemployed men trying to sell you a boatride around every bend in the street. What an absolutley unenjoyable place to visit.
Back to the inn, they said that they have the lowest rates in the area, guaranteed, but they are full of shit. Never stay at the Royal Taal Inn. It is a rip-off.

I understand your frustration with the place, we all should not tolerate unsatisfactory service when we paid for it. Personally I will move to another hotel there are a lot of very nice places to stay in Tagaytay. Maybe you should try them before to refer to the whole country as a shithole... and for your information we are not clowns. Surely, someone of your stature should know that hasty generalization is not the best thing to do in this world.
I understand fully your predicament. If your wife is a Filipina, sure she knows better. Since your rich you should have stayed at Taal Vista. Never ever go back here in Manila or else, we will send you Abu Sayaf at the airport you monster pig!!!

1. I never needed a head. No need to think so what is the threat?
2. I am not rich. So, need to get the best value for my money. This was not the best place.
3. Filipinos are not a race. So I am not a racist. I am prejudiced against people that treat me the way that was treated.

I feel sorry for your family that you didn't have a nice vacation in the Philippines,but one thing you should not forget before you go to other place you should know or find best place since it was your vacation,your the one responsible to it! Even me,here in Japan,I experienced same,we stay to hotel for a vacation and in the end were not satisfied.what I'm trying to say is, royal taal hotel seems worst for you but,but,but, don't put the sin in the Philippines! theres a lot of good and beautiful places over there, in any places of the world,there's a bad place,and theres a good place,that's the reality.so don't say bad words in one country because you just not enjoy your vacation once.
