Milton Friedman....
When I was a freshman in college, 1977, I used to go to the browsing library and pick out interesting new books and read through them for entertainment. I enjoyed reading some material from the likes of Buckminster Fuller, the inventor of the geodesic dome and a very forward thinking architect. However, I picked up a book, Free to Choose by Milton Friedman and this was a changing point of my life. The clarity of thought, the pointed arguments and the conceptual framework of monetary life dictating supply and demand drove my thoughts. I kept the book form the library and never returned it. Haha. I stole the book.
Well, Milton Friedman is dead after 94 years of teaching and thinking. Thank you Milton for your work.
