Milton J. Madison - An American Refugee Now Living in China, Where Liberty is Ascending

Backlash against the TSA has more to do with excessive intervention in people's lives than the simple proceedures deployed by these airport workers...

If Obamacare is constitutional, we have experienced the demise of limited government. If the government can, among other things, command citizens to purchase health insurance of a prescribed shape and size, you can bet it will be using this power in a variety of (other) unpleasing ways in the future. It's just a matter of time. As the Tea Party folks recognize, it's time to take a stand.
From here. The central government through these kind machinations have effectively gained total control over your lives.

Traveler John Tyner made famous the phrase, "but if you touch my junk, I will have you arrested" as he explained that he was concerned about privacy. It seems as if the American government holds nothing personally sacred and feels that it is necessary to touch people's genitals. There are just no limits as to what the American central government feels that it has the right to do. There just are no limits any longer.

As the leviathan in Washington interjects itself in nearly every aspect of one's daily life, people feel like they are becoming more-and-more detached from their own government and no longer have the personal liberty to choose and to pursue their dreams. The overlords in Washington, also feel compelled through hard leftist politically correct thinking to inspect in airports even those that pose absolutely no risk to other travelers and to go through these silly time consuming and costly processes so as to not perchance 'offend' some group.

As a result of this massive shift towards leftist political orthodoxy emanating out of Washington, typical Americans just do not have the time nor inclination to play these silly games. So they are striking out at interface between themselves and the US central government and this is the unfortunate front-line TSA worker.

This is not about airport security, its all about Americans feeling like a serf to Washington centralized authority and that government being beholden to both silly political correctness and exact opposite authoritarian affirmative action benefiting some supposed perceived discriminated group leveled against typical law abiding hard working Americans.

Saying you feel sorry for TSA is like saying you feel sorry for the Brownshirts. Fuck them. They are part of what is wrong with the sytem. they are the system that enforces, as you have coorectly pointed out, a never ending assault on it's own citizen's.
Nobody should have to take an x-ray or be phyically touched by anybody to get on a form of transpotation.
It's a disgusting display of arrogance to force people to comply.
The edges get pushed out every month with some new draconian intrusion into the personal lives of Americans.
And you know, just like the Catholic Church preists, the TSA is going to be attracting people who get off on the power thing at every level. You will literally be a prisoner during the time you pass through their procedures.
