More Whining....
As I wrote previously, I have been amazed at the poor attitudes of my fellow Americans on this visit and their claims that people are suffering. Although I do agree that times are tough, they are difficult for everyone. Many of the discussions I have had, turned annoyingly argumentative, and the inevitable decline into the damp and dusty dungeons of conspiracy theories and blaming America for every ill facing the world inevitably comes out.
I liken the decline in any discussion with a Democrat where your debate opponent inevitably invokes a conspiracy theory or blames America for all of the world's problems as a corollary to Godwin's law, that states;
"As a Usenet discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one."I will call this Glenzo's law....
"As political discussions with Democrats proceed, they will eventually attempt to support an argument using a trite conspiracy theory and finally try blame America for every world ill before you walk away in disgust."However, I did come across a disturbing news piece (NPR never lies)illustrating how tough times have become and these victims are being forced to cut back on food.
They claim that since they didn't have a car, they couldn't get a job, but i suspect that if they had a car, that they wouldn't be able to get in it.
