Common sense kidnapped......

In the universe inhabited by the current American presidential administration of Axelrod, using the Obamessiah as cover, they are now employing Newspeak as they have now deemed that there is no such thing as frothing at the mouth crazed Muslims (that's oldspeak of my ilk). What we have now are top officials as apologists for violent religious extremists. As explained by Charles Krauthammer....

Instead, President Obama's National Security Strategy insists on calling the enemy -- how else do you define those seeking your destruction? -- "a loose network of violent extremists." But this is utterly meaningless. This is not an anger-management therapy group gone rogue. These are people professing a powerful ideology rooted in a radical interpretation of Islam, in whose name they propagandize, proselytize, terrorize and kill.

From here. SPEAK NO EVIL. Instead, the US now has national security based on mealy mouth word parsing, political correctness that has gone viral and infected even those aspects of American lives that needs to be focused and dealt with seriously.

So this is how the spineless Obamessiah administration is seeking out a painless route of non-conflict as if to think that by not speaking the names, they will never have to face the troubles. So maybe, firstly, the thinking goes, that if they rename the trouble then maybe it will mystically vanish. However, one fundamental problem exists for this juvenile path in that by renaming it, is that they secondly are then forced to go even further by denying that Islamic fanaticism is even a primary cause for the violent outbursts that we have seen by these people. We are engaging in an advanced state of denial that is both mystifying in its attempt at dodging a problem that has to be faced head on and problematic in that by not facing the problem, we will be unable to aggressively deal with it. As Krauthammer further laments where the American government invests in the notion that Islam is not even a contributing factor to this violence he has this to say on SPEAK NO EVIL.....

Of course it is. Indeed, Islamist fundamentalism is not only a risk factor. It is the risk factor, the common denominator linking all the great terror attacks of this century -- from 9/11 to Mumbai, from Fort Hood to Times Square, from London to Madrid to Bali. The attackers varied in nationality, education, age, social class, native tongue and race. The one thing that united them was the jihadist vision in whose name they acted.

And even as we deny that there is even a problem despite continuing violent attacks we will eventually have to also SEE NO EVIL. This will be manifested as the nation will be forced to paper over problems. How,with a free press this will be achieved remains to be seen. But the hear no evil, speak no evil, see no evil monkeys are alive and well in Washington.
