Quote of the day.....

How about creating jobs? Isn’t that a great way to serve our country? How about the government letting me keep my profits so I can reinvest them in my company and hire more people? Why is it that job creation is only good when the government does it? And why is it when the private sector creates jobs it is a capitalist evil? So, sir, we are giving. Now, please tell Mr. Obama to get out of our way and let us create some jobs.

— Aaron Margulies, responding to "Let’s Renew America Together"
Words spoken from the nether world of reality. Governments can only shift jobs, from the private sector to the public sector. Government taxing and borrowing only shifts capital from the productive private sector to the less-than-productive public sector.

Its unfortunate, but Americans have been living in a world of creeping socialism started 75 years ago by Herbert Hoover and implemented by Roosevelt. Since then, American's have been lulled and lured in the evil belief that governments can actually efficiently and effectively manage and produce goods and services. This idea is opium. The continuation of this concept is not only dangerous economically but it is destructive to normal human community and interaction. In my humble opinion, it is destructive to family, communities and spiritually. Just witness the worship of the new president of the USA in what I can only describe as a godless orgy. Time for a civil war. Buy Spam and ammunition.

Millions in Washington to Worship the New Messiah.....

Its too bad that he will end up being an absolute massive disappointment. Particularly for those that worship him and worship Washington. All I have to say to all those that voted for the devil's sperm.... SCREW YOU..... you are all a bunch of witless and useless fools looking for your little silly handouts that you will never get. If you look to the Obamessiah and to the 'golden calf' in Washington for redemption, you will get absolutely what you deserve....NOTHING, hahahaha. Oh, oh , oh I got my rebate check and the bank lost it.

"I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

- Groucho Marx"

Passage of the day....

Of course the most intense period of the recession is behind us - tomorrow is 20 January. Just read any of the so-called mainstream media - the same data will look tremendously different when illuminated by hope and change.
We hit bottom on January 19th? (Read the last paragraph) Those that are relying upon government to save them from their bad habits over the past several decades are in for a very severe disappointment. But the media will try to portray every movement made by the golden calf as a success and probably a brilliant maneuver and a success before it is even implemented. My nation is dead, now we have a zombie European retread nation, just a bunch of people looking for their next handout deserved only because they were born on a certain piece of soil. Sad people.

The Sickly Patient Will Be Gone Today....

Today marks the end of the era of the United States where people were offered opportunity and the ability to succeed or fail. Now, after 70 years of of progressive illness, failures are subsidized, the wealthy are handed monthly checks paid for by working people and those that succeed are vilified as evil in order to justify taking (stealing) the fruits of their labor through a byzantine tax system.

The coronation of the new messiah is going to take place in the center of evil's lair, Washington. As Americans worship the "golden calf" as the economic savior of the nation, these people are forgetting that success does not come from outside but from inside. Unfortunately, the inside is rotten. There is no longer faith in family, community, the individual or God. There is only faith in the false hope of the 'golden calf' that is Washington. This will only fail and make it that much more difficult to fix in the future and Americans need to consider returning to true American roots of individualism, hard work and a sense of community.

Good luck USA, I no longer feel any kinship or connection to the current way of life there. All of you will be incredibly disappointed.

Explain This Economic Stimulus Plan To Me.....

Maybe I am just not as brilliant as the rest of the people in this world, but I just cannot comprehend how a government can stimulate an economy. This is what I do not understand about the plan the the Neo-Jesus and his new 'golden calf' administration has for the nation known as the USA:
1. The plan to hand out $300mm under the pseudo-tax cut title to lower income workers so that they can buy beer and marijuana. It would be more stimulative to spend money on uppers, cocaine or even strong coffee for these people.
2. There is another chunk planned as spending to build critical infrastructure. The problem is, that if it is so critical, then it would have been done already during the 'good' times that we have had over the past 15 years or so. Maybe this new critical infrastructure is not critical at all but the ones that didn't make the first cut and were not deemed worthy of taxpayer money previously.
3. More is going into general spending to so that money is goes into the economy and this is generally understood to be pump priming. Someone fill me in how this 'primes' the pump keeping the following in mind:
4. All of this sounds like a wonderful plan, but where does this money come from? Well, of course the evil rich could see their taxes go up or the government can borrow money at almost zero interest rate. However, dollars have to be either coerced out of the pockets of taxpayers or borrowed from people that are looking to invest in bonds. The problem with this money is that it is being diverted from other uses. The evil rich would have spent it on things that they wanted or invest it in new companies or in the stock market. So these funds will be diverted from investments to some kind of government mandated spending. So unless the government spending is more productive than the evil rich people's planned spending, the diversion of these resources will actually generate LOWER economic growth than would otherwise be the case.
5. So, if the government puts people to work by digging ditches, and then hires others to fill them in, this unjustifiable investment in useless infrastructure will actually decrease total economic growth by approximately the amount of the spending that government mandates. The diverted funds would have been spent or invested and this would have have the same secondary effects that the government spending would have had but without the benefit of creating anything of use for the primary spending.
6. Could it just be possible, that government 'stimulus' is nothing other than trying to make politicians look good? By making massive spending, no matter how destructive, politicians figure that they will be able to take credit for the inevitable turnaround in the economy, when the millions of independent decision makers actually figure out how to allocate the remaining capital efficiently and this allows the economy to grow. Its kind of like 'stimulating' the sun to rise and taking credit for it in the morning when it inevitable does.
Now that we entered a period when the tyranny of the majority attempts to force the 'wealthy' minority to give up their earning to faceless others. The problem is, that in this environment, we will create many fewer 'wealthy' and therefore less growth in general. We will be well on the way to serfdom.

Why people are even remotely interested in handing off so much power and wealth to handful of people in Washington is also completely a mystery to me. I think that it is time to take our nation back and think that a civil war is in the cards in order to wrestle it back form the handful of elected officials that now control increasingly large chunks of the nation's economy.

A Manly Man??????

In Support of Israel.....

Cannot embed, but worthwhile having a look at this video supportive of Israel.

I, in recent years, have become a staunch Zionist and am a steadfast supporter of Israel and its right to both defend itself from attacks and to aggressively counter potentially hostile actions against its peoples.

As far as I am concerned, spineless liberalism that thinks that somehow by selling Israel to the hostile Arabs is a winning formula that will buy peace is something that both cannot support and consider a signal of the decline of Western ideals of freedom, liberty and the security that that brings. This is just proving how spineless Europeans and American Liberals have become. Unwilling to support anything that will cost them something today but may cost a huge price tomorrow, these short-term live for today people damage our way of life and our children's future.

Can we afford to appease the hate that infects the Muslim world? I say absolutely not.

Still so appropriate as we enter a new phase of ridiculous and destructive socialism in the USA

Typical Islamic Cleric Talk and Threat of Death....

Islamic cleric Salah Sultan appeared on Egypt’s Al-Nas TV last week and delivered a warning of death and destruction for America. Not only did he attack the U.S. for its military support of Israel in its fight against the Hamas terrorist organization, but he vowed retaliation such that more Americans would be killed than those Palestinians (and, presumably, Hamas terrorists) killed in the present conflict in Gaza,
Typical threats from frothing-at-the-mouth Islamic religious leaders calling for and promoting killing and death to Americans and Israelis.

However, this clown is not the typical Middle-Eastern frothing-at-the-mouth variety of mainstream Islamic whack-job but one that lives and works in the USA. In fact...
What is unique about Sultan’s threats against America is that he holds U.S. permanent residency status and, according to one federal law enforcement official, travels regularly on a U.S. passport. And as I have reported elsewhere, Sultan is pursuing U.S. citizenship (the status of his application is unknown due to federal privacy laws). Thus, Salah Sultan has lived quite comfortably for more than a decade under the protections of the very country he now threatens with death and destruction.
Why do we tolerate these clowns that wrap themselves in religious clothing but preach such hate? Being tolerant of this kind of behavior is not tolerance but silliness. I remember that the Sunday after the bombings in London several years ago, the preacher of the church that I went to urged parishioners to go with him later that day to meet with Muslims and tell them that we do not feel animosity towards them. I did not see Muslims coming to us telling us that they do not hate us. The reason being is that they do hate us. Its stupidity to overlook this and to not recognize and meet this head-on is folly. The preacher that urges us to placate such hate is just plain stupid. In fact Americans are more willing to protest Conservative Christians and Mormons than hateful crazed Muslims since Christians won't kill you whereas Muslims cannot be trusted to act like humans.

This fellow should be confronted every single day outside his personal residence in the US asking him directly if he wishes death on his neighbors and those standing in front of him. These people are not people of God but tools of evil.

Question of the Times.....

Q: Is it economically possible to add the costs of government bureaucracies to the costs of medications and medical treatment have the the total cost of medical care go down?
The concept that the government through its sheer force of involvement adds value is just completely silly. What government does, is that it dumbs down the service, creates lots of paperwork and then claims victory through the use of some silly statistics.

As Thomas Sowell observes....
Many countries around the world already have government-run medical care. People who get sick in these countries usually wait much longer to get treatment, including months on waiting lists for surgery, often paying in pain or debilitation, rather than money.

High-tech medical devices like MRIs are also far less common in these countries than in the United States. With medical care as with anything else, you can always get poorer quality at a lower price, though that is no bargain, especially when you are sick.

What you may have in mind are lower prices with no reduction in quality. While that may be impossible, don't expect that fact to stop politicians from offering it, even if they can't deliver.
What the worshipers of government meddling and involvement in the lives of Americans cite to support their claims that government healthcare is more effective are reams of data that show all kinds of wonderful things. But common sense tells me that we will get a lot less for money we pay now. We will get a lot less through all kinds of normal market mechanisms. We will get less, by delays and long queues waiting for various proceedures. We will get a lot less as government lowers reimbursement rates for typical doctor procedures and fewer doctors will be available for these procedures. We will not get access to certain things. There will be less innovation. And we will also have the same bloodsucking lawyers hovering over us waiting for their chance to sue providers for every mistake, false step, or unavoidable problem. There is no way that the democrats will defund one of their largest donor groups, the American Trial Lawyer Association.

For All the Finger Pointing Americans....

Of course, Americans are sitting around blaming others for their problems like Congress, George Bush or greedy executives. Maybe these whining people should have a look around and realize that the whole world is going through a difficult time and this slowdown in the US is not something that the 'golden calf' in Washington can do anything about. Here is evidence of what is going on in other nations.....
TOKYO -- Japan's domestic auto sales fell last year to their lowest level since the mid-1970s as recession squashed already weak consumer demand during the last few months of the year.

According to data released by the Japan Automobile Dealers' Association on Monday, sales of new cars, trucks and buses slid 6.5% to 3.212 million vehicles last year from 3.434 million in 2007.

That marked the fifth straight year of declines, taking sales to their lowest level since 1974's 3.133 million, officials at the association said.
Governments can do absolutely nothing to solve the problems in the global economy. The market will work out what needs to be done. the only thing that government will do is cause valuable resources to be diverted to less productive purposes.
