Do not trust the government.....

The Sword of Damocles that hangs over all of our heads and we risk it falling due to tampering with fundamental rights that define liberty. We have been a success not because of government but because government largely stayed out of our lives. However, 80 years ago, the stage was set as activist government shifted economic responsibility from the states to the federal level. It seemed like a good idea at the time, but this has become a slippery, since we are not able to reverse course and the path of least resistance is to trade our economic liberty for central economic planning and authority. People are still aware of this but with the hard-left leaning press driving socialism this will not last forever....
that just 27% of Likely U.S. Voters agree that government investments made America great. Forty-two percent (42%) disagree, but a sizable 32% are not sure.
From here. People just cannot be sure anymore. The central government control will never stop at the shores of economic liberty, they will continue to intervene in more-and-more non-economic facets of American life. Like the USSR, China, North Korea and host of other fascist states, we too will be facing a central authority that will demand our respect and obedience. Indicative of this shift is the central planning authority commanding the Catholic Church to deliver a service that goes against their core beliefs. This behavior will become the norm as government will have to continue to intervene to paper over festering past disasters that are their own doing. I think that this quote very much captures the risk that we are taking unless we take back our nation and our lives.....

So Democrats need every single vote that they can get and the dog strategy is the cornerstone of their campaign. But I too want to know what kind of dog(s) the Obamessiah ate as a child. And this dog eating was important enough to him to write about in his book so lets hear more!

But there are lots of dogs that should be eaten in addition to the pooches that were consumed by the empty suit in the Whitehouse. The healthcare law is dog, eat that. The pork-u-lus stimulus bill was more than a dog, it was a pig, maybe a pig-dog. New species, government pig-dogs. Lots of those in Washington these days.

Fascists in the Democratic party are threatening companies that give to certain groups by threatening boycotts. In this case, the former 'green jobs' czar of the current administration, Van Jones, that got hounded out of the job due to his extreme Marxist and racist positions is now going after companies that give to American Legislative Exchange Council(ALEC). All of this silliness is wrapped in racial language where these groups are being attacked since they are viewed as NOT operating in the "best interest of black America." But its not clear that fascist attacks against these groups is truly in the best interests of "black America"........
But is punishing ALEC really in the best interests of black America, or is Color of Change scaring big business just to punish a political opponent and using the black community as a prop? Signs point to the latter.

The interesting thing about the Gates Foundation grant money in particular is that it reportedly had nothing to do with the legislation that drew Color of Change’s ire. Instead, Gates Foundation money was said to be used to promote ways of helping teachers and schools be more efficient. So, in the name of black Americans, Color of Change helped drain funding from a program that might have helped black students and the teachers and administrators catering to them.
Besides being stupid, its no shock to me at all, that in the days when the nation elected a person described as a "black American" as the President, that these crazies such as Van Jones and his kind are allowed to operate in this manner. Race relations seemingly have deteriorated and this appears to be be due to "black Americans" like Van Jones agitating for these conflicts.

But the bottom line, is that it is the Democrats that need this kind of nonsense as it embraced the idiotic 'occupy Wall Street' too as it base in order to elect their candidates. It just seems to me that is a very narrow 'base' to operate from and one that many people will not find even remotely attractive.

As more-and-more ludicrous attempts by these bureaucrats at creating an industry where one has to expect that the truly profitable enterprises will be founded, built and managed by the private sector government will be relegated to the ones that are shunned by the private sector due to problems with scalability, profitability, volatility and risk.

The law of adverse selection will ensure that government will be involved and choose those projects that are unattractive for real investment. Unless, of course, the government central planning apparatus uses it muscle to support those companies such as General Electric that have greater access to government decision makers and regulation that benefits these large players over those smaller and unconnected firms that have to compete in the real marketplace. These clumsy government attempts in the energy markets have proven to largely to be total disasters on the taxpayer's dime. Can anyone say Solyndra?

Some say.... This could actually work, if they used Congress instead of cows....


I say, not so quick, the socialists running the Whitehouse and the Democratic party provide a disproportionate volume of hot air that could drive massive electric generating turbines but also the crap they have produced is an amazing source of potential energy.

Yet he obviously knows little of how the Constitution works if he thinks it would be rare or startling for the Supreme Court to overrule a law passed by Congress.......

2. If he does not know how the government works under the Constitution, he should not be President......

3. If he does not know how the Constitution works even in its broadest strokes, what else does he not know?.....

4. Is he really so arrogant that he thinks he can lecture and threaten the Court? This is his second attempt to bully and demean the Court. Is this from arrogance or from foolishness and arrogance? In either case, it is not good......
The Obessiah is a clown, a neo-socialist clown. He is just the face of the progressive moment that embodied by the Democratic party and it is driving the nation towards full-blown socialism and ultimately tyranny. We will trade our history of achievement for a Marxism that will fail miserably.

With Obamacare, the fact that you exist is enough for Congress to intervene in any way that it deems necessary. Your mere existence allows congress to tell you what to buy and what can be offered to you. The central government has not only no right to do these things, they are terrible at delivering these goods and services.

...that every law passed by congress, which is a 'duly constituted and passed law' never be overturned by the Supreme Court. Even if its unconstitutional? What is the Supreme Court for?

This guy is just a clown. Jam something down the people's throats and then claim it is constitutional just due to the fact that it was passed as a law. The country is a mess and what things cannot congress do? This nation was supposed to be designed as a national government of limited powers not one of unlimited powers.
