Obama’s memo on “insider threats”

Like China, the US is fast becoming a 'rule by law' instead of a 'rule of law' nation.....
On the day before Thanksgiving, Barack Hussein Obama issued a Presidential Memorandum, or an unofficial directive to the heads of departments and agencies under the executive branch. This Presidential Memorandum, the text of which is only 183 words, directs agency and department heads to establish a program “to deter, detect, and mitigate actions by employees who may represent a threat to national security.”

Much like all of Obama’s other directives, Executive Orders and findings, there is a disturbing level of ambiguity contained within this memorandum. One could correctly state that the obvious intent of this directive is to stop government employees from leaking classified information that would endanger the safety and security of our nation. While true, there appears to be a deliberate lack of specificity concerning the exact elements that constitute such an “insider threat.”
As we face rule by the leviathan headed by prices, we will all suffer. I advocate fighting back. Now.

Death by Euro: Spain Faces Crisis as Catalonia Turns Secessionist | Via Meadia

I disagree with this writers contention here....
.... it’s clear what is pushing Spain into its worst constitutional crisis since the death of Franco: the colossal failure of the European currency union. European policy makers foisted a currency they did not understand on a continent that wasn’t ready for it, and the result is what may be the single most expensive economic policy fiasco ever seen.
This is not what is going on at all in Europe. The Euro is not the problem. What is going on is that governments there have indulged on an orgy of government spending supported by baby-boom demographics where there was a huge population of young, productive, working folks that were relatively healthy and did not absorb much of the public money.

However, demographics have changed and now profligate government spenders are finding that they can no longer behave this way. The Euro has, yes, forced them to face reality. The other option, what most commentators are selling to the public, is that if European nations had their own currency, they could debase the currency and keep the governments afloat. So, in other words, somehow a fiat currency allows governments to continue to be irresponsible and somehow this is good.... for who?

At one point, socialists will ALL have to face reality, socialist in Europe, socialists in the United States, socialists in Australia will have to deal with the reality of a world of limited resources and the inability to continuously borrow money from others to give themselves benefits today.

The Goebbels children were the five daughters and one son born to Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels and his wife Magda Goebbels. The children, born between 1932 and 1940, were murdered by their parents one-by-one in Berlin on May 1, 1945, the day both parents committed suicide the day after Hitler committed suicide.

Horror.

We too are suffocating our children and we refuse to stop.

Ugandan president repents of personal, national sins

I think that Uganda is getting it right....
President Yoweri Museveni celebrated Uganda’s 50th anniversary of independence from Britain at the National Jubilee Prayers event by publicly repenting of his personal sin and the sins of the nation.

“I stand here today to close the evil past, and especially in the last 50 years of our national leadership history and at the threshold of a new dispensation in the life of this nation. I stand here on my own behalf and on behalf of my predecessors to repent. We ask for your forgiveness,” Museveni prayed.

“We confess these sins, which have greatly hampered our national cohesion and delayed our political, social and economic transformation. We confess sins of idolatry and witchcraft which are rampant in our land. We confess sins of shedding innocent blood, sins of political hypocrisy, dishonesty, intrigue and betrayal,” Museveni said.
As far as the USA is concerned, this commentator made interesting points....
He quoted British 17th century statesman Edmund Burke, who said, “The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.”

Daubenmire said that in America, “good men have yielded power to evil men.”

“Evil rules when evil men make the rules,” he said.
AS a nation, we have confused God and government. We are allowing and even encouraging the government to replace our spirituality and trust in our God.

We have put our faith in a new Messiah and this false prophet will let us down and kill us.

I remember the death bus when I was young. Now I remember the death nation.....

When i was young, around 5 years old, I remember riding a bus into Pittsburgh with my Grandparents. I remember it was one of those old 1950's style stainless steel buses that was worn out past its time. I remember the linoleum on the floor being worn out on some spots and there being plywood repairs on the floor replacing some of the original boards. Most of all, I remember the people. My late grandparents, the mostly elderly passengers on the bus and the bus driver with the hat sitting high ontop his head. Everyone on the bus for that ride is probably now dead, except me. I am the only one on this side of the divide.

My nation reminds me of the death bus. Everything in my nation is now dead like the young child seeing how thing used to be. It is just a memory and all of the life that inhabited it before no longer exists. The nation is now nothing but just death. Managed by the prince of darkness and destined to be just a fading memory, remembered as a ugly broken down and old nation and not as the vibrant dynamic place that it truly was and still should be.

I went to a Thanksgiving service at lunch today here in Hong Kong....

The Consulate General read out the following invocation prepared by the President for this date. Unfortunately, I sincerely doubt if this man believes much of what was communicated here.....
On Thanksgiving Day, Americans everywhere gather with family and friends to recount the joys and blessings of the past year. This day is a time to take stock of the fortune we have known and the kindnesses we have shared, grateful for the God-given bounty that enriches our lives. As many pause to lend a hand to those in need, we are also reminded of the indelible spirit of compassion and mutual responsibility that has distinguished our Nation since its earliest days. Many Thanksgivings have offered opportunities to celebrate community during times of hardship. When the Pilgrims at Plymouth Colony gave thanks for a bountiful harvest nearly four centuries ago, they enjoyed the fruits of their labor with the Wampanoag tribe -- a people who had shared vital knowledge of the land in the difficult months before. When President George Washington marked our democracy's first Thanksgiving, he prayed to our Creator for peace, union, and plenty through the trials that would surely come. And when our Nation was torn by bitterness and civil war, President Abraham Lincoln reminded us that we were, at heart, one Nation, sharing a bond as Americans that could bend but would not break. Those expressions of unity still echo today, whether in the contributions that generations of Native Americans have made to our country, the Union our forebears fought so hard to preserve, or the providence that draws our families together this season. As we reflect on our proud heritage, let us also give thanks to those who honor it by giving back. This Thanksgiving, thousands of our men and women in uniform will sit down for a meal far from their loved ones and the comforts of home. We honor their service and sacrifice. We also show our appreciation to Americans who are serving in their communities, ensuring their neighbors have a hot meal and a place to stay. Their actions reflect our age-old belief that we are our brothers' and sisters' keepers, and they affirm once more that we are a people who draw our deepest strength not from might or wealth, but from our bonds to each other. On Thanksgiving Day, individuals from all walks of life come together to celebrate this most American tradition, grateful for the blessings of family, community, and country. Let us spend this day by lifting up those we love, mindful of the grace bestowed upon us by God and by all who have made our lives richer with their presence. NOW, THEREFORE, I, BARACK OBAMA, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim Thursday, November 22, 2012, as a National Day of Thanksgiving. I encourage the people of the United States to join together -- whether in our homes, places of worship, community centers, or any place of fellowship for friends and neighbors -- and give thanks for all we have received in the past year, express appreciation to those whose lives enrich our own, and share our bounty with others. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this twentieth day of November, in the year of our Lord two thousand twelve, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and thirty-seventh.
For me this was an emotional service. To me, it was almost like a funeral as I have come to realize that the nation that I knew, loved, supported and was so very proud of is dead. It is no longer a nation whose ideals are that of individual liberty and responsibility. It is a nation that has adopted the core values of socialism and nihilism more reflexive of Europe. It is now a nation where people think that they are owed a living. That they owed an education. That they are owed food on the table. That people, that they have never met, never smiled at, never respected, never knew their names, never read about...owe them the fruits of the their labor, the returns on their investment and the time that they have dedicated to their toils. I felt truly sad for the peoples there. People that actually have come to no longer believe in traditional families, communities and neighborhoods but now put their faith in the leviathan in Washington. People that are rapidly loosing their faith in our creator and only live for the moment. I know that this new socialist world that we live in will not last last long but I fear that the return to true values and faith will only pass through times that will be much more difficult than we can ever imagine.

President Obama,
Clinton Prosperity Requires Clinton-Sized Government - Forbes

Can't make a cake with just flour. The juvenile approach to governance as proffered by the Obamessiah and the current Democratic party misunderstands or maybe just does not want to know what it takes to have a balanced national government. I just think that they are not serious. Clinton was an anomaly.

President Obama, <br/> Clinton Prosperity Requires Clinton-Sized Government - Forbes

2013 Looks a Lot Like 1937 in Four Fearsome Ways - Bloomberg

I think that Americans will be sorely disappointed in the choices that they have made as of late. As we can see, we have reached new irresponsible heights in central government spending as a percent of GDP. The federal government is now nearly a quarter and all government spending including state and local is well over 40%.

And lets have a look at central government spending in more recent times excluding WWII. We can see that we have reached new levels under the Obamessiah. Even under the dastardly George W. Bush, and his wars, spending was relatively constrained.

You can see, yes, it appears as if recessions do have an impact, we can see that in the recession of 80-81, Reagan increased spending to 22% of GDP (at that time, I thought he was being a good time Charlie and I thought that was irresponsible) but this subsequently dropped dramatically to more normalized levels. I argue that the recession of 1980 was much worse than the more recent one as we saw unemployment rise much higher and were troubled by both inflation and very high interest rates.

Now we are being told that we need to tax more. To me, the principle problem is spending. And this spending will rise even more due to Obamacare in the very near future. We are going to have to divert resources allocated by the free market into the guts of government in a wishful move towards improving the nations healthcare. This is foolish and we will disappointed as heathcare will cost more, will get more scarce, will cost much more in time and effort for the typical American and results will be much worse.

My negativity on the near future of the economic health of the nation can be summed up by having a look at the last great leap forward into socialism in the 1930's...
Benjamin Anderson, the chief economist at Chase National Bank in the 1930s, tried to capture the problem of the big- government president by titling one of his books “When Government Plays God.” His advisers warned him to suppress the title, arguing it might offend. Anderson shifted to the more banal: “Economics and the Public Welfare.” But Anderson’s phrase still reverberates: A government that “plays God,” or at least “plays powerhouse,” can spook markets and employers, whatever the decade.
Nations that rely on government for its national output generally get atrophied in its productive business sectors. Europe is going through that now where in most nations there, government as a percent of GDP is over 50%. The productive econmony just cannot grow fast enough to support the growing and festering pussball of government.

I think that the troubles that Spain, Italy and soon France are having, is going to spread to the USA in the very near future irrespective of how much we 'tax the rich.' What I see in government today is not only juvenile but self destructive. Honestly, i am completely amazed that we are volunatarily and actually supporting this path. Have we become a stupid people? We may be facing a 'fiscal cliff' but after that we are facing government immolation. Satan must be so proud!

PJ Lifestyle » Why is Identity Politics Evil?

Neo-liberalism is not just morally bankrupt or delusional, its destructive relying upon on some kind of "justifiable" moral attacks on men?
In its delusional death spiral, the white male patriarchy was so hard core, so redolent of country clubs and Cadillacs, it made little effort not to alienate women. The election had the largest gender gap in the history of the Gallup poll, with Obama winning the vote of single women by 36 percentage points.”
Demonized males by the neo-liberal power elite will prove to be a cancer that will debilitate the nation. Women have higher enrollment in higher education institutions by a 57%-43% as reported here. This is something that largely goes unreported, however, one cannot read a story relating to gender that does not spout out something about women earning less. Like there is some kind of secret law that women should be paid less, devised and carried out by some kind of sour and stingy Ebenezer Scrooge. This whole meme is utter and complete unadulterated poppycock.

Women, for some oddball reason think that they know better, vilify males and are supported by a central government that inserts themselves in nearly every transaction that we enter into. Need an abortion? They will support it. Need free birth control, sure no problem. Higher female attendance of higher education institutions by 14 points, yea, this is normal.

Some may argue that it is about time. But they completely miss the point. Men need something more than just to be asked to donate sperm to the continuation of the species. They need more than that. They need to feel like they have a reason for their own existence, they be productive and need to be the head of the household. However, as we have seen these roles eliminated, men have left, women have become hostile and families breakup. Children are being raised without fathers and this will destroy normal human development making us a much more coarse society and much much less productive.

Just Basal Cell Carcinoma....

But the upside if it was some kind of deadly tumor is that at least I would feel free to tell people what I really think of them. However, the US has a festering malignant tumor that will probably kill the host. They are telling people exactly what they think of them, STFU. Good luck, the death will protracted and painful.

Guess What They Are Not Cutting In The Fiscal Cliff... | ZeroHedge

The fiscal cliff is just nonsense it is a distraction. But, the Democrats campaigned on class warfare where high earning people are to be coerced and forced into paying and even larger share of the nation tax obligation despite the fact that they already pay more than their fair share. This is the center piece of their whole economic policy. Juveniles are running the nation and i think that we should let them do it. Let the inmates have the keys to the asylum. Give them a chance to completely run the show and lets see if communism works, American style. It won't.

The fiscal cliff was created by the Whitehouse in order to scare people. However, reality is just not very pretty even assuming that taxes increase on high earning people. Even with a return to the pre-Bush tax rates, an addition $60 billion or so can be expected to be collected annually. This coupled with gigantic middle class tax increases under Obamacare, will have the effect of increasing potential revenue around $200 billion a year. But people will change behavior and the central government will never get everything that they are hoping for. Remember taxes or borrowing is economically exactly the same. It takes productive capital out of the hands of people that earned or saved it and allocates it to government spending. The only way that this makes sense is if one can empirically prove that this spending is more productive than what the private sector would have allocated it to. Common sense tells us that to think that government spending is more productive economically is delusional at best and destructive at worst.

I think that we are only a few short years away from a US government default on its obligations. consider this....
But here's the problem-- the US fiscal situation is so untenable that the government fails to collect enough tax revenue to cover mandatory spending and debt interest. In Fiscal Year 2011, for example, the US government spent $176 billion MORE on debt interest and mandatory spending than they generated in tax revenue.

In Fiscal Year 2012, which just ended 6 weeks ago, that shortfall increased to $251 billion. This means that they could cut the ENTIRE discretionary budget and still be in the hole by $251 billion.
Eventually, people are going to get tired financing a completely irresponsible government like we have seen going on in Europe. I think that people will starve to death in the united States like we saw in Russia and China during the Communist years. And this will be completely and totally the responsibility of the government in Washington.

Guess What They Are Not Cutting In The Fiscal Cliff... | ZeroHedge

Purge going on in the leadership of the US military. Coup d'etat?????

Too many strange things happening including the sudden departure of the us army commander in Europe. The Afghanistan commander is being investigated and probably passed over. The CIA and FBI are going at each other....
All this—the FBI spying on the CIA—constitutes the government attacking itself. Anyone who did this when neither federal criminal law nor national security has been implicated and kept the president in the dark has violated about four federal statutes and should be fired and indicted. The general may be a cad and a bad husband, but he has the same constitutional rights as the rest of us.
So, like the good old communist countries that had to periodically purge their top military, it seems as if the US is now going through that too. Get the trouble makers out and make sure that anyone that deigns to join them gets silenced. Send the Secretary of Defense and State Department to Australia for a little while to get them offshore.

Nice Losers | RealClearPolitics

Thinking from national treasure, Thomas Sowell on the recent election....
Quite aside from the immediate effects of particular policies, Barack Obama has repeatedly circumvented the laws, including the Constitution of the United States, in ways and on a scale that pushes this nation in the direction of arbitrary one-man rule.

Now that Obama will be in a position to appoint Supreme Court justices who can rubber stamp his evasions of the law and usurpations of power, this country may be unrecognizable in a few years as the America that once led the world in freedom, as well as in many other things.
The POTUS, a liberal Uber-Mensch, is pursuing policies that will drive the nation towards a more Marxist and central planned approach to the nation's economics.  Once these things are implemented, they are extremely difficult to reverse since alternate suppliers no longer have a place and shift resources to other endeavors and people come to expect and rely upon these new government provided economic goods.  There becomes no other options available.  For example, with Social Security, people paid in their taxes and now expect that they will receive what they were promised.  The government seized the funds, and there were no other options available for people.  No other choices for those that were forced into this specific program.  So they rightly believed that they did not have to save more or devote resources to savings since Social Security did it for them.  Its insidious on many different levels.  However, as government drives relentlessly towards the imperial presidency with the tools of Marxist central planning, who is to say that one day there will not be a right-wing or autocrat that gets to and takes power?  One day that could be the day when all of the things that the hard-left loves, like abortion on demand, free healthcare and other goodies are taken away.  Or that liberties are eviscerated as people come to the point where they do not appreciate government intervention and rebel against it.  This is the danger that we face and Sowell identifies the platform that creates this new world.  .

The United States has truly become a nation of takers. But the problem with Utopian redistribution is that it eventually leads to the loss of individual liberty. People have been born, raised and lived decades within this socialist economy having been indoctrinated into this from an early age, particularly in their schooling so therefore do not know any better. It will be impossible politically to reverse this course so we will continue to experience greater socialism and loss of liberty in fit and starts.

But what cannot last forever, won't. Why wait for the inevitable collapse of the Utopian redistributionist economy? Resist it today, with violence if necessary. The neo-liberals (Democrats) have used violence and the threat of violence against conservatives effectively for decades and as my mother explained to me, it is acceptable since 'people are scared.' I wonder if she would support me if I used violence seeking to attacked the much loved and worshiped socialist state since I am scared for my children.

A lesson for Democrats.....

Are the free markets moral?  A short lesson for all Democrats, here.  Markets, to me, are neither moral or immoral.  What they are voluntary places where people can choose to participate or not and a free people are not compelled to participate on either side at all.  Government, on the other hand, compels its citizens to participate in a market that they may not naturally or normally be involved in.  Government forces and coerces participation and does so under threat.

So what system is the system that defines the liberty of individuals?

Ron Paul: Election shows U.S. 'far gone' - Washington Times

I will plead with my son not to go to the USA for his university schooling since I think that higher education there is a cesspool of socialist indoctrination and may even prove to be a very dangerous place to live in a short while. Socialism and dependency, big government and a sense of total entitlement is what I see in that nation and this will prove to be not just unsustainable but will ruin the social fabric that made the nation wealthy and successful.....
"People do not want anything cut," he said. "They want all the bailouts to come. They want the Fed to keep printing the money. And they don't believe that we've gone off the cliff or are close to going off the cliff. They think we can patch it over, that we can somehow come up with some magic solution. But you can't have a budgetary solution if you don't change what the role of government should be. As long as you think we have to police the world and run this welfare state, all we are going to argue about is who will get the loot."
Delaying the inevitable will only make it more difficult to deal with. Look at Greece and we will see Spain, Portugal and host of other socialist states in Europe collapse. This will happen to us too. I hope that you folks enjoy it since this is what you wanted.

Demography may be destiny, but we have some say about our demography | Power Line

I do think that Republicans should stick to what they stand for and NOT move towards socialist democratic Euro style ideals. so heartily embraced by modern Democrats.

One of the things that they are talking about in this soul searching is to accept immigration reform and allowing illegal immigants to become citizens or in translation; getting 11 million more Democrats. So, breaking the law is ok. Those, such as Chinese folks that are waiting in line, should continue to wait in line while we allow these Democrats to jump in line ahead. Politics out trumps justice... for Democrats?

But his gnashing of teeth is completely unnecessary. I think that I just voted in the last election that I will vote in. I have no interest or desire to be involved or even care about this country full of socialist crazies anymore.

The writers identify this interesting tidbit in the piece...
But where, in shorter term, will Republicans find votes in a changing America if they don’t broaden their appeal to Hispanics? Looking at data from the just-completed election, Sean Trende finds that a big chunk of the white vote stayed home this year, as compared to 2008. If so, that’s a potential source of extra Republican voters.

Moreover, it may be possible for Republicans to reduce slightly the Republican deficit in the Hispanic vote without supporting legislation that meaningfully will increase the number of illegal aliens who can become citizens. Finally, it seems likely that the Democrats, beholden as they are to African-American and Hispanic voters, will increasingly alienate White voters who, after all, will remain the big majority of the electorate for a good while.

White folks are losing interest in voting, you know why? Because they are smart enough to know that Washington politics isn't about national security, working, building a long term foundation, its not about families and educating our kids as to what is right and wrong. Its about indoctrination into Euro style socialism, abortion on demand, free contraceptives for frothing at the mouth feminists, handing out food stamps to overweight stupid people, about how do we suck up to alternative lifestyles such as forcing gay marriage onto the churches.

What would have been much better in this election is that I wished that the Democrats had taken back the House of Representatives, and therefore create another opportunity to jam through all of this nonsense. I say, let the pyromaniacs burn down the house. White is back? Up is down. Fine with me if that is what they want to do. They think all of this is better so let them do all of it. Every little last bit of it.  Satan loves these people, they are doing his bidding.  Let them do it and then let them stand in the cesspool of shit that they have created.

Ripped apart by financial crisis, Greek society in free-fall

When you socialize everything, when the money runs out, everything stops working. This will be the fate of the USA too.....
Healthcare spending has been slashed as the country struggles to reduce its debt. Public hospitals complain of shortages of everything from gauzes to surgical equipment. Pharmacies regularly go on strike or refuse to fill subsidized social security prescriptions because government funds haven't paid them for the drugs already bought. Benefits have been slashed and hospital workers often go unpaid for months.

And it is the country's most vulnerable who suffer.

"When the pharmacies are closed and I can't get my insulin, which is my life for me, what do I do? ... How can we survive?" asked Voula Hasiotou, a member of an association of diabetics who turned out for the rally.

The meaning of yesterday’s defeat — a follow-up to John’s post | Power Line

The worst part about last night is that America elected a president who, in my opinion, doesn’t care about dealing seriously with these harsh economic realities. He cares about creating a transformative legacy — one that consists essentially of more government and free stuff for certain groups, along European lines. Obama didn’t get himself elected to preside over cuts that would be inconsistent with such a legacy (i.e., cuts to things other than our defense). He’ll leave that to his successors.
Why I disagree with this is that I just do not think that the Obamessiah is this smart. He is just a lucky deity. The nation is still hoping that this deity will provide for a lucky time like we had during Bill Clinton's without any of the hard work necessary to do it. It just is not meant to be since the Obamessiah is a lazy man when it comes to actually doing anything other than to allow government to engorge itself on the American landscape.

We kind of need a nation that faces its problems instead of thinking that taxing a small sliver or people a little more will solve it problems. Its really a juvenile approach to a complex problem. And its an opiate. We had the opportunity to hire a smart, nice and hard working guy that would have seriously tackled this problem. Personally, I think that the nation is past the point where he would have successfully achieved anything lasting but at least it would have been dealt with in an adult manner....
By contrast, Mitt Romney’s legacy likely would have been a serious attempt to deal with the harsh economic realities that are about to smack us in the face. Unlike Obama, he regarded such an attempt as the good fight, and more than reason enough to become president. But Romney won’t have that opportunity. Considering the difficulties it would have entailed, he shouldn’t curse his luck too much.
We are in for world of hurt and our economic well being is going to decline precipitously over the coming several years. Additionally, Al Qaeda made an announcement today, the day after the election. They know what has happened, it is not lost on them on how the nature of the nation has changed, an attack has been put into place and they are delighted that the lazy Obamessiah and electorate that is unwilling to be serious is still their adversary.

Thought of the day......

One America tends to be traditionally religious, personally charitable, appreciative of entrepreneurs, and suspicious of government. The other tends to be secular or only mildly religious, less charitable, skeptical of business, and supportive of government as an instrument to advance liberal causes.
I have been talking about this divide for quite some time. I may consider going back to the US if I could live in my choice of the nation that I prefer. But I cannot live under the boot of the secular progressives.

I think that we will see a real civil war. We may as well do it now since it will only get worse as time moves on. I do not want to impose my values on others so, i prefer to split the nation to preserve for me what I want and so they can do whatever they want.

Definition of Nihilism

On God and Santa Claus Quote from P.J. O'Rourke:

"I have only one firm belief about the American political system, and that is this: God is a Republican and Santa Claus is a Democrat. God is an elderly or, at any rate, middle-aged mate, a stern fellow, patriarchal rather than paternal and a great believer in rules and regulations. He holds men strictly accountable for their actions. He has little apparent concern for the material well-being of the disadvantaged. He is politically connected, socially powerful and holds the mortgage on literally everything in the world. God is difficult. God is unsentimental. It is very hard to get into God's heavenly country club. Santa Claus is another matter. He's cute. He's nonthreatening. He's always cheerful. And he loves animals. He may know who's been naughty and who's been nice, but he never does anything about it. He gives everyone everything they want without thought of a quid pro quo. He works hard for charities, and he's famously generous to the poor. Santa Claus is preferable to God in every way but one: There is no such thing as Santa Claus."

America just re-elected Santa Claus.

If I was to go poastal, who would be on my kill list?

First 2: 1. Chuck Schumer 2. Chris Matthews Easy access.

Beating a dead horse......

I fear that what an English friend just wrote me is true:
You just don’t care about being a Great Power any longer. That’s what this is about. The world should start sucking up to China instead now, as Americans have shown they’ve no appetite for world leadership any longer. You’ve had a century in the sun, and now you’ve decided to become Sweden instead of shouldering the burden. The 47% have won and you’re going to slip into social democracy and in 4 years time no-one — Christie, Rubio, Ryan — will be able to do anything about it.

RIP American Exceptionalism
We are trading first rate for second rate. Soon we will be the English.

DECKER: 5 Questions with Michael Savage - Washington Times

Savage: What comes to mind is George Orwell’s famous saying from the 1930s that the more he hears people screaming freedom, freedom, freedom, the more he hears their chains rattling. I think that about sums it up. Today we have people who think that they are wild and free and crazy because they are engaging in risky, insane, round-the-clock sex, using drugs, defying everything decent in society. But that’s not freedom, is it? That’s not even anarchy. What it is, is simple conformity. That’s all it really is.
Its nihilism, the intermediate step between liberty and being under the yoke of big government collectivism.

DECKER: 5 Questions with Michael Savage - Washington Times

Wednesday, November 07, 2012

I am totally ashamed of my nation. Individual liberty has taken a serious body blow. Now lets all say together.... LONG LIVE COLLECTIVISM!!!!!!

I had some kind of weird lesion removed from my neck today...

I had some kind of weird lesion removed from my neck today and will get the biopsy results in 48 hours. However, the lesion afflicting the United States is still there, will continue to fester and will probably prove to be deadly. Unrepentant socialism, overarching regulatory authority out of Washington and intervention into markets will not only remain at this extraordinary high level that we are experiencing today but will probably resume its march higher.

Not worried that we too will face the the same kind of strains that Europe is now dealing with?  Unfortunately, we will have the opportunity to face these same upcoming challenges with a socialist ideologue leader that is probably the least prepared and least capable individual that we have seen in modern times. What is most shocking to me is that Americans accept this and somehow embrace it. It is not the country that I know and this is not the people that I think that I know. I do know some crazy frothing at the mouth socialist progressives and some of these are family members. But honestly, I am completely amazed. I was also totally amazed the last time that the Obamessiah was elected and I am completely amazed and mystified that people desire to be represented by this fool again. Satan is so very strong I suppose.

I sometimes think that maybe I am just incapable of comprehending reality that the way that I look at things could be just a dream. Maybe I just should not be an optimist and therefore embrace the horrible truth that we are no longer sovereign people and are just chattel to our overlords. To think that people want to build a better life, care for their children, teach them how to be productive healthy people.... maybe is just a horribly distorted vision of reality. Maybe we have to embrace death and resurrect as new life offered by The Beast in Washington where we will be required to accept and pay for our neighbor's abortion on demand, accept and subsidize broken families, accept white penance for the sins of people decades or 100's of years ago, accept churches that no longer have a portfolio of good works to focus on since The Beast has crowded them out, accept that we will be told how to take care for ourselves, accept how we will consume our food, accept how we will engage with our own health, accept that every transaction that we willfully enter into may be or we will expect to be monitored by our big brother in Washington, accept that we are no longer individuals but a part of some unnatural organism whose brain is in Washington.

It appears to me as if people think and have accepted that The Beast, Washington, is somehow benevolent, thinking that the dictator will provide for them. But I know better.  However, as I get disappointed over-and-over, I just do not feel optimistic about my life and about may family's life. I just do not think that my children will have opportunity to be productive people unless they adopt the socialist's game.  what kind of life is it if they have play by strange rules?  Why should they even try if they will be punished and berated for being successful and coddled and rewarded if they are not. I am very very concerned about my children's well being. And I also feel that I am incapable, too tired and not willing to live with all of this.

Review & Outlook: Hope Over Experience - WSJ.com

And socialism over economicly free people....
These columns have viewed this election as more consequential than others for a single reason—ObamaCare. Tax rates do economic damage when they rise, but they can be cut again. Regulations can be adapted to or phased out. Spending can be cut. But the Affordable Care Act will spread like termites in the national economy and public fisc. Mr. Obama will no doubt use his second term to consolidate this liberal entitlement dream, with its ultimate goal of single-payer health care.

Some of our conservative friends will argue that Mr. Obama's victory thus represents a decline in national virtue and a tipping point in favor of the "takers" over the makers. They will say the middle class chose Mr. Obama's government blandishments over Mr. Romney's opportunity society. We don't think such a narrow victory of an incumbent President who continues to be personally admired justifies such a conclusion.
I think that the final thought quoted above is totally wrong. The nation has experienced a steady decline of people seeking opportunity and instead expect something to be handed to them. Takers are becoming the norm in the United States and Romney was 100% correct in saying that the 47%, the takers, will never support a candidate unless that candidate promises something for nothing.

Its really not about us, its about them....

We have lived without shame, borrowed to give our politicians stuff to give out, have lived today on the dime of tomorrow's people. Time to take this baby back and not burden them with our indulgences.

Column: Why are elections so scary?

This is ever so true. The overarching central government has made it not only desirable but necessary to try to influence elections. If people did not think that it provided themselves some kind of advantage or protection, fewer would donate vast sums of their wealth or time to these processes..........
The mere fact that presidential elections matter this much is not a sign of national health but of national dysfunction. The more the federal government gets involved in every aspect of our lives — for good or ill — the more people will feel that their livelihoods, lifestyles, even their actual lives are at stake in a presidential election. If the federal government didn't have so much leverage over your life, politicians wouldn't be able to scare you into the voting booths.
Some have argued to me that there should be less money in politics. I say that that will happen if we take the money out of the hands of the central government. If they cannot distribute the goodies, then there will be less profit in influencing how that is distributed.

Column: Why are elections so scary?

Column: Re-elect and we'll see how much worse it can be

It could have been much worse and it will be if this clown is re-elected. For me, this election is an indicator that the American folks have adopted a European style world and want hand-outs or conversely, they want to work and build a nation that is a good place to live for themselves and their children. I just think that socialism will eventually lead to catharsis and death. Ergo, Democrats and particularly, the Obamessiah are totally repulsive to me. I would find it difficult to live in a world where the beacon of liberty becomes just another Utopian redistributive state. Column: Re-elect and we'll see how much worse it can be

Sandy Versus Katrina - NYTimes.com

Krugman, to me, is the face and intellectual core of the Democratic party. Nasty, hyper-opinionated and not particularly concerned with factual analysis, Democrats continuously read and repeat his various anti-Republican screeds.

However, I find this quote particularly interesting....
And that’s no accident: the federal government’s ability to respond effectively to disaster always collapses when antigovernment Republicans hold the White House, and always recovers when Democrats take it back.

Consider, in particular, the history of the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

Under President George H. W. Bush, FEMA became a dumping ground for unqualified political hacks. Faced with a major test in the form of Hurricane Andrew in 1992, the agency failed completely.
Analysis: Democrat good, Republican bad. However, it also has to be said, that there were no sizable disasters during the Clinton years comparable to Andrew, Katrina or Sandy but one has to say that it is difficult to say right now if the FEMA response to Sandy has been any better than in previous times when the agency has been criticized for its inability to respond quickly. Maybe, just maybe, the Federal government is just not capable of responding to natural disasters in an everything for everybody mode. Maybe, just maybe we have to recognize the limitations of a lumbering central government to be there, quick to the response and capable to solve every problem.

And then there is the issue of management of such a lumbering giant. As highlighted by FEMA head prior to the Katrina disaster....
President Bush appointed Michael D. Brown as FEMA's director in January 2003. Brown warned in September 2003 that FEMA's absorption into DHS would make a mockery of FEMA's new motto, "A Nation Prepared", and would "fundamentally sever FEMA from its core functions", "shatter agency morale" and "break longstanding, effective and tested relationships with states and first responder stakeholders". The inevitable result of the reorganization of 2003, warned Brown, would be "an ineffective and uncoordinated response" to a terrorist attack or a natural disaster.
The problems surrounding Katrina were well documented and it is my opinion, that much of it was politicized from the very beginning with racially charged rhetoric that was picked up and promoted by the national press media. But in any case, it seems as experts evaluation is that FEMA did not do a good job.

However, what I find so amusing is Krugman's statement quoted above.....
Under President George H. W. Bush, FEMA became a dumping ground for unqualified political hacks.
I can say the same thing about the opinion pages of the New York Times these days, that it too is a dumping ground of unqualified political hacks, Krugman being one of them.

Exclusive: Security officials on the ground in Libya challenge CIA account | Fox News

Maybe the Obamessiah was just too busy posing and campaigning to worry his pretty little head over a potential September 11th attack. But even more important is that it seems as if the whole system broke down. Maybe the fog of war but probably there is more to this such as nothing get done with out orders from the top and the top is just not concerned enough to take action...
British sources on the ground in Benghazi said they are extremely frustrated by the attack and are still wondering why they weren't called for help. “We have more people on the ground here than the Americans and I just don't know why we didn't get the call?" one said.

Both American and British sources said, at the very least, the security situation on the ground and the lack of proper response were the result of "complete incompetence." The covert team that came in from Tripoli was held up at the Benghazi airport for more than three hours by Libyan officials. Sources said the team notified officials in Washington that they were being delayed within 30 minutes of their arrival.

They also point out that these questions "don't even address the military capabilities of our United Nations ally Turkey, who (has) forces available a similarly short flight away." Fox News has learned that Turkey had a number of embassy staff in town the night of the attack and that the Turkish consul general met with Ambassador Stevens in Benghazi the night he and the three other Americans were killed.

One source asked, "Were the Turks not warned? What forces were available from our ally Turkey? Especially since they had officials there in Benghazi also and had to be concerned … and where was the U.N. in all of this?"

A Vote For The Obama-Biden Ticket Is A Vote For National Collapse - Investors.com

Usually Mark Steyn is quite pointed in his comments but rarely so stark. Personally, I do not think that it matters much who is POTUS since the US is past the point of no return and Washington will bury the nation with debt, regulation and constant economic intervention. Only 18th on the global economic liberty scale, Washington will such all the air out of nation's engine and we will be looking back in a few years asking ourselves what the heck happened.

The Captain's Journal » Benghazi Inconsistencies

It sure appears to me as if the Obamessiah has some answering to do. But we will not get any of these answers prior to this upcoming election since I think that the calculus for allowing our people to die in Behnghazi on the fateful night of September 11, 2012 had everything to do with protecting the POTUS election and had nothing to do with the the actual job of protecting our citizens, military and vital national security interests...
But we also know that the President’s fingerprints are all over this. Lies are usually counterproductive, as well as immoral and unethical. Meanwhile, four souls were left behind. One cardinal rule for the Marines and Army is that you don’t leave men behind. Ever.

I read the deployment orders (and accompanying PowerPoint presentation to the Battalion) when my son deployed to Fallujah, Iraq, because (then) Lt. Col. William Mullen showed it to me. The men were issued “die in place” orders. It is always better if your family has closure, rather than wondering if you’re alive and tortured or dead. But one simple truth permeated that part of the presentation.

If missing, the Battalion would move mountains to find their men wherever they were. This simple commitment, so revealing of character and integrity, went with the men throughout their combat tour in 2007. The poor souls in Benghazi didn’t have the same commitment from their “brothers.”
If you make a deal with the Devil, he will exact his price. If one thinks that somehow the Obamessiah is a caring person and that by supporting him and his socialist government and its supposed agenda that assists the poor and underprivileged and this kind of person and his policies can and will actually protect the poor, then you have been fooled. You have made a deal with the Devil. That is what Satan does, fool you. When one supports Satan and practically worships him we know what will become of us.....
Proverbs 6:16 These six things the LORD hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: 17 A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, 18 A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, 19 A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren.
This is exactly what the Obamessiah is.
