Okay.  Volume has surprised them.   However, after nearly 4 months with about a two months to go, they are only at half their goal.  To me this implies that not as many as expected have signed up so, how could the volume therefore have surprised them?


I suspect that they have been experieincing data problems and customers are being forced to call in to try to what they cannot effectively do online.  So, in reality, the volume of PROBLEMS is what has surprised them.


This intrusion into people's lives and personal health will lead to worse outcomes, less people having health insurance, poorer access to real healthcare and will end up being much more expensive.  This is the kind of stuff that we get from an incompetent government.

He’s increased the likelihood that if there is a change of regime in Syria that it will be an Islamic fundamentalist one.”

Britain’s shock parliamentary vote against military action in Syria also exposed Prime Minister David Cameron’s lack of a clear strategy. “It absolutely illustrated the failure to think through the strategic implications of his own actions,” said Strachan.

And why would any of our allies go along with the child president that has no clue what to do?

The reality is that the Obamessiah prior to becoming President never had to make a decision, had never had anyone question him, never had to actually produce anything of value and never failed. Never failed mainly because his skin color is considered Black and never held to the standards of others.

The United States continues to slide on the Heritage Foundation's index of economic freedom falling to 12th place, behind Estonia. This is no surprise to me as the American central government continues to intervene in what used to be a free enterprise system that is now a centrally planned and effectively corporate fascist state. As economic liberty falls, so will incomes, employment and standards of living.

The US is now living on past accomplishments and with government and the people's expectation of government intervention, I do not think that the nation will be able to extricate itself from this slide. We are fast becoming just another non-descript Euro socialist state.

In his weekly address released on Saturday, January 4, President Obama had the audacity to slam Republicans for "going home for the holidays" and letting unemployment insurance benefits expire. The only problem is that Obama said this while still on his holiday vacation in Hawaii.
