The Sword of Damocles that hangs over all of our heads and we risk it falling due to tampering with fundamental rights that define liberty. We have been a success not because of government but because government largely stayed out of our lives. However, 80 years ago, the stage was set as activist government shifted economic responsibility from the states to the federal level. It seemed like a good idea at the time, but this has become a slippery, since we are not able to reverse course and the path of least resistance is to trade our economic liberty for central economic planning and authority. People are still aware of this but with the hard-left leaning press driving socialism this will not last forever....

It really isn't unfair at all to bring Obama's canine consumption to public attention. The president isn't really one of us. He's a dog-eater. He tells the story in his memoir to emphasize that viscerally, Obama identifies with the Third World of his upbringing more than with the America of his adulthood. It is our great misfortune to have a president who dislikes our country at this juncture in our history.And its also ok to draw conclusions from this material. I have thought that he is NOT one of us. He thinks that he is smarter. People worshiped this fellow but he is looking more-and-more like an incompetent doofus. Just not as smart as he thinks he is and just not a good as many people thought.

Fascists in the Democratic party are threatening companies that give to certain groups by threatening boycotts. In this case, the former 'green jobs' czar of the current administration, Van Jones, that got hounded out of the job due to his extreme Marxist and racist positions is now going after companies that give to American Legislative Exchange Council(ALEC). All of this silliness is wrapped in racial language where these groups are being attacked since they are viewed as NOT operating in the "best interest of black America." But its not clear that fascist attacks against these groups is truly in the best interests of "black America"........
But is punishing ALEC really in the best interests of black America, or is Color of Change scaring big business just to punish a political opponent and using the black community as a prop? Signs point to the latter.Besides being stupid, its no shock to me at all, that in the days when the nation elected a person described as a "black American" as the President, that these crazies such as Van Jones and his kind are allowed to operate in this manner. Race relations seemingly have deteriorated and this appears to be be due to "black Americans" like Van Jones agitating for these conflicts.

Wickard v. Filburn, Dred Scott, Kelo, Roe vs. Wade and a bunch of others were terrible SCOTUS decisions. Some have resulted in putting the nation on a path of eroding personal liberty. One must consider that in the founding of the United States, an experiment in personal liberty, the Commerce Clause was not designed as a blank check for Congress to do absolutely anything that they wanted. Wickard v. Filburn largely set us on a path that whatever you do, you have an impact on interstate commerce and therefore subject to regulation. With Obamacare, the fact that you exist is enough for Congress to intervene in any way that it deems necessary. Your mere existence allows congress to tell you what to buy and what can be offered to you. The central government has not only no right to do these things, they are terrible at delivering these goods and services.
